Are you ready?

Are you all ready for this?!! I hope that all of you reading this have got yourself a comfy seat, because I have posted a ton! Well, for me it is, but I hope everyone is happy to hear from us, and the things that have been happening in our little world! So sit back, and prepare to sit for awhile so you can catch up. Enjoy!

Finger paints

While on the computer, I found a fun little boredom buster for the kids. It is edible finger paints! The kids had a lot of fun creating pictures and licking their fingers in between. I told Jerid about it, and he thought that it was a disgusting idea. Too bad, because this is what the kids want to do for FHE one night! I know that he will be licking his fingers with the kids. I'll have to take pictures of that and post them, well, maybe we shouldn't count on that, seeing that it takes me so long to actually post something! Ha ha ha...

We finally broke down......

So, we finally broke down and got the kids their first pet. We are just too nice of parents I think! Jerid found this pet in our own yard, can you believe it?! What are the chances of that happening? We were quite shocked to actually be able to find one of these rare specimens in our own yard. The kids were quite excited, and we told them that they could actually keep this one!! This pet is so low maintenance, I am so happy with our choice of pet. And, if the worst happens, we think that we might be able to replace this one pretty inexpensively. Wow! What a find. Jerid actually thinks that it is pretty sad that our kids are so excited to have a snail as a pet. But I think that it is hilarious!! Don't you?!

What fashion sense!

I don't really know why Jerid decided to put tape on the children's clothes, but they thought that it was hilarious! I guess just some Conference weekend fun you might say. The kids wanted to show off their new found clothing accessory. Isn't that just remarkable!? The pants that your kids can roll around in mud, and all you need to do is have a washcloth handy and then send them out the door again. I think that we might be onto something great here!

And don't they just look, well I don't know, awesome?!!

Moab!

We just recently had the opportunity to go down to Moab. I had signed up for the Moab 1/2 Marathon. Which, we were not the smartest of people, we forgot to bring a camera with us to the race, to actually prove that I ran the race. DUH.... Anyways, I finished the race with a time of 1:56. Not exactly the result that I was hoping for, but at least I finished! We decided to stay an extra day. We had a hotel in Green River, which might I add, is a pretty boring town. If you are not planning on doing any 4 wheeling, or things of that nature, which if you all remember, we are not going to be doing that any time soon! We took the kids to some Geyser, that was really hard to find, but we finally made it, and the kids had a lot of fun being there!

Averee didn't want her shorts to "drag" in the water.....Can you see how she is holding them up!? What a cutie!

Reagen and Cambree found a fun spot in which the declared it was "their" house. They each had their own "bedroom" and everything. Here is Reagen in her "room".

Cambree wanted me to take a picture of her "drinking" the water. What a goof.

A day to remember!

Cambree just had the opportunity to be baptized on March 7. She was so excited for this day! She was however a little nervous, but she knew that this was something that she wanted. We are so proud of her and the choice that she made to be baptized!

We love you Cambree!!

SCIENCE FAIR FUN....OR SOMETHING LIKE THAT

Another late post, I know, I know....But at least I am posting, right? Cambree had this great idea to do a science project this year. My first thought.....no. I knew that it would be me that was really doing the project. But she and our cute little neighbor boy, who is really almost a brother, wanted to really, really do a project together. So, my friend Jenny and I reluctantly said yes. They decided that they wanted their project to be about something with snow. Very scientific. That is what we thought too. We (well not really me, but Jenny) had the kids take samples of snow from Jennys lawn, and by the road. They let it melt and they wanted to know which would be the best for eating. Their conclusion came out as: no snow is good snow to eat. Our cute little kiddos did not recieve 1st place, but only a meager 2nd. I know, we were shocked too. If only we had a stinkin science journal...We would have for sure taken 1st. Oh well, maybe next year.

This is me and my wonderful friend Jenny, who really did the science project. We wanted the recognition we deserved. Ha ha ha....

The kids....don't they look so proud? And Reagen wanted to get in on the action also. What fun!
